The assembly of God churches that I have been to here in NZ has good teaching and children/ youth groups. They do have alot of visitors speaking here. The music is beautiful worship in my opinion.

Thanks brother this is an excellent video and I fully agree The older Hillsong worship songs are biblical but some of the newer ones are more like pop songs I hope you are well and blessed back in the US.

I know a lot of people that called christians and they believed that God shows them everything’s that happening in heaven and on earth but they are blind mice. The Holy Spirit used the Hillsong Praise and Worship Songs to speak into the world. The level of the Anointing of the Holy Spirit was so high and so strong

and so powerful that reach the spirit and heart of millions and millions of people. And I know there is no other church in the world that their praise and worship team can have that anointing. God spoke through the songs of King David and the Holy Spirit was spoke through the Hillsong Praise and Worship to the world and millions of people they received Jesus Christ in their lives they are with Jesus Christ in the Kingdom Of God. Jesus used us even though He know that we are sinner. God gave King Solomon the wisdom but he turned away from God later on in his life, So are you going to tear off his pages from the bible.? So I encourage you guys to keep on singing the songs from the Hillsong Praise and Worship it’s good for your soul.

For me it's a constant issue with "movements" or a certain named church/chain of churches, even to a denomination - most people expect you to be all or nothing with it, rather than excepting what is true and good, and rejecting the bad. Example, I do not subscribe to the "prosperity gospel" as an entirety, but there are things which they teach which are 100% biblical and few other places are teaching it - I'm not going to reject the truth nor accept the lies about it in order to be able to be put in a pigeonhole of either believing in or rejecting everything they teach. And as you say, we should take a sermon or a song on the merits of it alone in most instances, rather than the source. Is the text theologically sound and is it actually a song of worship of God? When yes, then I will not stop listening to it because of the actions of the writer or of the leadership of the movement associated with the song. And taking your mention of Psalms a step further - the writer of the Pslams committed a terrible act of sin (most likely more sins, but one particular is recorded for us). Should we not read any Pslams because of it?

Let me say this that THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST WAS WITH THE HILLSONG PRAISE AND WORSHIP, look at 2 Kings 3 vs 15 as the musician played his harp, the Power of the Lord came on Elisha and he prophesied That was exactly what JESUS did to the HILLSONG PRAISE AND WORSHIP SONGS that the POWER AND THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT touched the lives of millions and millions of people only just listen to the Praise and Worship Songs the lives change people got healed the devil and the demons the power of darkness fled away the people came running from all over the world because their spirits found peace and healing from the songs of Praise. It wasn’t happened because of someone’s faith was too big or someone’s life was too holy no no it was GOD’S OWN WILL. Sadly the hillsong church now becomes like all churches without the Glory of God all they after money money money when I hear a pastor says SOW A SEED SOW A SEED so many times in the message be alert that is a business pastor. Let me say this there is no praise and worship team in any other church in the world that shows what God did to the Hillsong Praise and Worship and I thank JESUS CHRIST for me to see, hear and witness the works OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT AMEN

This to me is really not a good Church to go. I love a smaller Church where you get to know people much better. The Anglican and Baptist Church are great.
