Thanks for watching my content. I know that flipping the cylinder is frowned upon. Settle down! I enjoyed making this video; as you know, I am partial to revolvers; nothing beats a well-constructed and beautiful Smith or Ruger. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below - please consider the thumbs up button if you like my content as it helps to grow my channel. Until next time -take care.

Nice thorough presentation with shooting footage of not only .38 SPL, but different .357 Magnum bullets. Agree that it handles the .357 Magnums well for a snubbie even if it is an L frame. Grips are very nice looking, however for me I did get a small blister when I shot a lot of .357 Magnum loads, so might consider putting the hogue grips on it I bought. Great finishing sequence including specs. Thanks DC63.

Thanks Brother. My finger started to get blistered with the heavier loads as well. Right where it sits behind the trigger guard. I really enjoyed shooting the 38’s with it though. I appreciated your comment and thanks for watching. 😄

I have a ruger redhawk snubby in 357. Similar gun, I love it, handles the magnums like a champ.

Beautiful revolver. I picked up an Azula leather thumb break holster for my 686 snubby. It works well , but a little harder to conceal than my Glock 23.

I’m having a hard time finding a holster for this. I’ll look your up. Thanks.

I see that you are a member at the capital city rifle &pistol club in north Augusta. I watched a video short of the psa ar-10 and recognized the range. Hope to maybe meet you there someday

I try to make each firearm look pleasing to the eye. Some firearms just need all the help they can get. Damn ugly. Hi Point for example 😀

Definitely my next gun. Yeah we’ve all flipped the cylinder before. I never knew it was bad till just a few years ago when I watched a Revolver Etiquette video on KZbin. I guess that explains why my S&W 629 was out of timing when I traded it in. That has to be the best looking revolver out there. I wish S&W made it with the exact same styling but in a 3 inch. That or an L Comp in stainless. I don’t like blued guns because they show wear if carried a lot. The bead blasted or matte stainless finish seams to hold up better. That’s one fine revolver.

Thanks for watching. Yeah an occasional flip is harmless. I do like this revolver. Shooting 38 special in it is like shooting a 22.

@@DC632AIt ia not harmless. It is very easy to damage the crane doing that it, as well as the bolt. It will also damage the timing. I have repaired dozens of Smith & Wesson revolvers from people doing that. I have been shooting wheelguns since the late Eighties, and it is poor gunman skills.

Is this gun's trigger as smooth as a new colt python.

Not sure. I don’t have a python but it’s pretty darn smooth. Thanks for watching.

What's the trigger pull weight? Thats what we all really want to know

It’s a revolver so even the PC has about a 9 or 10 pound double action and I’m getting about 4.5 on the single action. But the pull is smooth and crisp. The hammer starts it journey backwards the instant you begin the pull and falls nice and crisp. Extremely tactile
