I like a long video here and there, but I LOVE your short videos. Sometimes I do crave more. I have certain book tubers that their voices are just soothing to me- you and @booksandlala are two that I can think of off the top of my head.

12:33 I agree! 2015-2018 was an exciting BookTube time. OwlCrate unboxings were huge (I'm still a committed subscriber to both their YA and Adult books). Book Depository was also big on Book Tube...and we all were bummed when they went out of business. Thanks for being committed to doing your videos...we love them!❤

I used to love Top 5 Wednesday and it seemed to make the community more cohesive and it worked at that time. Good memories 😊

@ThoughtsOnTomes Book Depository shopping, Top 5 Wednesday's etc brought everyone together in a way. Reading Sprints and panel discussions still do that...but it's different. I get nostalgic at times for what used to be

I do not remember when I started watching your channel, but I am very certain that I have been watching you for almost all of these 10 years. For me, it was a great experience to see you grow up and grow up with you in a way. Congratulations for reaching 10 years! And thanks for still being here after all this time. I've been following you since around 2016 back when I had my own booktube channel that I have since scrubbed from existence. Some of my favorite videos of yours were the "Top 5 Wednesday" videos. You are one of the last few booktubers that I still watch as everyone else I used to watch has disappeared, just like you said.

congrats sam!!! super big milestone. i gotta say though, i’m very happy to have seen you take a step back from booktube and focusing on your life and your career. it makes me super happy to see you be so secure and confident in yourself and your boundaries. and i also admire the fact that you’ve kept up with reviews! i love going back to your old ones whenever i finally read a book i know you’ve talked about. you’re right about them consistently gaining views - i think people usually look them up whenever they can actually watch them! and it’s much easier to find a dedicated review, rather than try to find some random wrap up that you /sort of/ remember somebody talked about a book in. hope you’re well!!

Congrats on ten years! I completely agree on the lack of angst in romances lately. I remember reading We Hunt the Flame and just being absolutely on edge with those two that entire book. Idk if it's the popularity of romantasy that we don't get the angsty romance subplots that we used to as much anymore. I know I'll never escape YA. I keep reading too many good ones.

I've been following you on booktube for a long time, thanks to you I discovered great urban fantasy books and a lot of good recommendations about fantasy and slow burn books😍😍. Without your content I suppose I've never discovered these kind of books, because they were completely unknown in Spain where I'm from. Congrats for these 10 years here🎉🎉 amazing 💐🎊 Also I love your couple/ship ranking and I miss way too much all the angst that was in the books before. We want that angst back😎😎
