I do enjoy many of your video reviews of journals. I especially like this product in that I don't have a leather tide Journal and I love the fact that there was no ghosting on the back of your writing sample. of course I would enjoy winning one of these so please pick me. please keep your videos coming I do enjoy them a lot. I wish people would stop saying something is "Genuine Leather" because most don't know what this means. "Genuine Leather" is the technical name for a particular layer of a hide. The top layer is called "Top Grain" because it's on top, and you can see the grain of the leather, along with any scars the animal acquired in life. This is by far the most valuable layer of a hide, and it's where very, very expensive luggage, briefcases, etc. comes from. Skipping the layers between, the thin layer at the bottom of the hide is called Genuine Leather. A brilliant marketing ploy. When the description of a product says "Genuine Leather", this is what you're getting. If treated properly, tanned properly, and cut properly, it will be fine for things not meant for a lifetime of use, and that won't be stressed, but it's really not very good. So you are not doing a product any favors by calling it "Genuine Leather".
