Man I feel the same.... It's been almost 17 yrs now for me. I fell so fast and hard for her. I loved who she was and her life story. It was the first woman I had ever loved and it still is there. We had a child together, my firstborn. I tried to build a future with her and I asked for her hand in marriage. She told me no and that she couldn't make that decision. I tried to stay we were like just friends or something during the whole pregnancy. I stayed because I truly loved her. But after a year of being just friends and after the baby I tried again to become more than that on Valentines day 2009. She once again turned me down. It finally broke me and I left... She hesitated and I finally had enough of just being there. I then found another which became my ex wife she got pregnant by another man during our marriage so I left. Then reconnected with my first love but she had went back to the guy she was with before me. They have been together for almost 15 yrs now. Still hasn't committed to her and hurts her but she loves him. I believe he is leading a double life and has another family on the side. Me and her are now back in each other's lives and she's literally my best friend and we are intimate at times. I think about her every day and I want her to one day choose me. But she doesn't want to throw away all the time and she loves the man she with i see it. He doesn't really care anymore just goes through the motions. Ignores her and I think once his daughter gets older he will leave her. He has married another woman. But for monetary reasons so that's his excuse. Wow he is pretty smart... He never takes her out or anything. She promised that she would come to me if they split..... That's where we are rn...
