Vivid memory of this song. My mom was a new Christian and I bought this album at a Christian book store. My mom heard me play this song and literally snapped the cd in half in front of me, unknowingly further cementing a love for harder and harder music.

Lmaoooo, same dude. My parents didn't break my cd but they knew I got it from a Christian music store so they weren't upset that I listened to it a lot, just weirded out thst it was so hard rock. They definitely didn't like that I started listening to slipknot soon after though 😂😂

Oh, dayum...........😮 Whoops. Did i say that out loud? I ain't mean it like that. But day-, err, dang. 😮😮😮😮😮 I mean, I get her, but that was a tad excessive. Thats a bad core memory right there, fam. She could've just confiscated it whole time. That's rough. That's like when abuela smashed the kid's guitar in Coco, bruh. Too much.

They underrated themselves by cornering themselves into the Jesus market after this song hit big. This song hit mainstream, and dumbass Christians, at the time when it broke, said TFK went mainstream and didn't "really love Jesus".

2.6 million views, 18,000 likes, that's about 1 out of every 145 people... They are really "feeling it." Dont get me wrong, I did come here because I like the song, but it's hardley a Christian anthem. Also, Im atheist, so there's that...

I’m an atheist and they sound pretty good. Talent is talent regardless of what ppl’s beliefs may be. I like a lot of Christian rockers though. The singers has a very smooth voice
@krissanders9872 жыл бұрын
@magneutes lol true. But usually when lyrics have Jesus in every song, it’s usually very cheesy Sunday chorus type of songs lol. Best Christian music is using other ways, more original ways to express ya beliefs through music. Collective soul and band live are still my personal favorite religious bands and I’m an atheist😁

I recently started watching Smallville for the first time and got to the race scene in season 3 where this song surprised me. I sometimes forget the show is a product of the early '00s and, of course, forgot all about these guys! I remember seeing them at a music festival in '06. The Smallville soundtrack is full of so much nostalgia for me. Never thought Christian rock would fuel my depression.

It didn't change anything for me but it did challenge what I thought Christian Rock was (I'm Agnostic). Either way, these guys were pretty awesome. It's a matter of whether or not we are willing to let go of what we are and allow Him to make us something greater than what we could have ever even imagined. That 's what the gospel is about. When we feel like we are worthless- God has a higher purpose for us. I can't tell you how much happiness I have in my life now when i thought I was happy before God. I
