I can’t remember the last time I saw a news clip about the struggling American. It’s weird because they are all around me. People that can’t afford rent, groceries, healthcare. All across the nation, heating companies have literally DOUBLED their rates this winter. My retired mother for example, got a $500 dollar heating bill this month she can’t afford on social security. Half of her meds are too expensive and my husband and I pitch in for those, now utilities.

I personally experienced aggressive panhandling in DC a couple mornings ago. The one employee running the 7-11 was scared to unlock the door. Dude spoke no English. I've been in this neighborhood for about a year and a half when it comes to the beggars and the druggies they're all darker color so we say and I'm quite sure that they're Americans. But this is the first time I ran into this
