So sad that Thranduil had such a brief screen time when the entirety of the movies was at least 5 hours. I mean it must have been less than 10 minutes total. Looks like much of his part was cut. I have to agree with others that a film based on the elves would be a great thing. I know I would love it.

I never was into fair haired men until I saw Thranduil. The character is so majestic tall and so awe aspiringly handsome. Lee was perfect for the role but sadly was not in the movies as much as Orlando was. Like Pace with his shaggy red hair playing the vampire Garret too. I never tire watching my set of the Hobbit movies only wish I would dream about Thranduil rescuing me one night.
