Nice. Pro tip, you can get sheet metal flashing and eliminate all transition gaps when adding wood extensions. For instance the 3 foot box you added.. sheet metal screwed onto the box and hanging flush with the transition eliminates any gaps. Also, you can mix ardex on the ground and save some buckets. I did industrial flooring, we'd sometimes have to repair the concrete. Ardex is definitely the way to go, don't cheap out and use skimcoat. Anyway, good video. Helps a lot of young bucks out.

The feather finish grey?
@beedeebee132 жыл бұрын
@@joshgross8741 that is the one. I don't remember what is in it, but it is much less brittle than skimcoat. I think they add Latex into ardex to make it more rubbery... but don't quote me. Definitely ardex feather finish grey though.

why did they paint it? sponsors arent cool with grafiti?
@hmoore13382 жыл бұрын
@@joshgross8741 pretty sure it’s painted because of the history and community involvement, the Pstone invitational is usually held by the more core brands anyway so it’s not something super corporate that don’t like stuff
@joshgross87412 жыл бұрын
@@hmoore1338 the more core brands are not super cool and open minded. Hence the elimination of the indy logo. These brands are incorporated. Dude, wake up.
@hmoore13382 жыл бұрын
@@joshgross8741 the elimination of the Indy logo was a call made by consumers and passed up to the brand, as far as they are incorporated, they’re as core as you can be and still keep afloat. Brands like Indy and Creature and those kinda brands, the “core” brands are open to the “culture” of DIY parks which comes a lot with Graff culture as part of the DIY. I bet nyjahs ur favourite skater🤪🤑

@jstolls17262 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. That’s probably what I would do. If you got a hammer drill, you could drill some pilot holes and secure with anchors, when you remove the extension you could easily fill those holes in. If you were in a rush or on a budget, you could just use gorilla construction adhesive, it bond concrete and wood in just an hour or so, holds pretty strong too. Not sure how clean up would go when you removed extension though.
