It can't be said enough how well done these segments are. The research and knowledge that Ted brings each episode, the history/nostalgia of the spots, the evolution of skating around it. Such a gem!

As a massive fan of the “love letters” i always wondered how a show that was more street oriented might work. This is it! Incredibly thought provoking and deeply researched stuff right here! Gets down to the nitty gritty! I love the particularly subversive aspect of this episode here where the skateboarders representing the power of individuality, creativity and freedom - are a slap in the face to the ice cold, greasy oil slicked greedsters “in charge”. 10/10!! Incredible show!

@@theautisticowl7153 Speaking as an “I used to skate” 40 y/o, I once worked at an office where people would sometimes skate the front area of the building. Right outside my window. Certainly not a dope spot with all-time bangers going down, but ya it does suck. And not because of damage to ledges (I don’t own the building so idgaf about that) - it was the 100% the noise. I actually had to do the unthinkable to 16 y/o me and ask kids to leave a few times. But fortunately they were always cool abt it since I wasn’t a dick to them.
