Calling it: this will be a modern classic. The combo of trick selection, filming, editing, music, and style is unlike anything I've seen in skating before. Super exciting to watch.

It’s very reminiscent of Gou Miyagi. Not trying to take anything away from it though. Still excellent.

agree that the editing in lenz 3 has been really cool, but kento's former thrasher part was better imo. still love this one, but the earlier part did a better job of creating that old vs. new school "fusion" in his trick selection

This video just goes to show how much style matters. They cooked up a whole new flavor to these traditionally “illegal/whacky” tricks & served them like no one else. Legendary. This is one of those videos that simultaneously - entertains skaters and non-skaters - urges you to rewatch the whole video, the individual clips, and frame by frame - Inspires you to experiment with new movements & tricks - Get you hyped to see more like this 10/10 🎉

Homie has truly ascended and I'm convinced no one skates like him or can compare. Congrats on the thrasher vid bro you deserve it KEEP SHREDDING SUPER RAT 🤘🔥

It made me audibly go EUUUGH It’s way better than the formulaic and sterile, Do a grind, push a bit and do a Tre flip then either do another grind or huck a flip trick down a stair set, we see so much of that.

That was refreshing. That's what happens when you grow up basically teaching yourself how to skate without any preconceived notions about what's supposed to be cool or proper. This could never have happened in the U. S. where skateboarding culture now ironically imposes its own unwritten, unspoken set of standards, judgments, and expectations which is probably why a lot of skaters still prefer to skate alone and do their own thing without judgment

I mean people do skate somewhat like this and have the ability to, some just choose to go fully into and others do it more for fun But I see where you might’ve gotten that notion from in regards to how some POPULAR us skaters are portrayed It’s the ones you don’t see that are probably skating like this
