Holy shit this is amazing. Skating and Blue Note are two of my favorite things ever 😭

Why tf would it matter if you were going to bed soon or not? That’s like saying you don’t watch action movies before bed …. Does it keep you up past your bedtime or something?
@davidsolomon12634 ай бұрын
For me I can't listen to some wu or other raw rugged hardcore sounds before going to bed unless I m super tired.For some reason every time I have ever listened to rap b4 bedtime I have ended up sticking up white boys or sold crack to fiends. Idk maybe I was just depressed but I'm still depressed.... maybe you should try listening to Brian Eno music for airports... It's like the musical equivalent to the worst pharmaceutical cocktail of Seroquel,thorazine, lithium and every SSRI mix and antidepressant... Shit will put you out for weeks, drooling on yourself, probably binge eating I hear that's a common side effect of that is cocktails (for the record don't take any of those pills ever maybe listen to Brian Eno if you want) always listen to the Wu

I love this combination. Skateboarding has always seemed like physical jazz to me. This is really well done. Thanks.

YES! Jazz is the music of improvisation, passion and self-expression using an instrument. It's about transporting yourself and others to an unknown land... The board is an instrument of the same type.
@TRANSMISSIONNO155 ай бұрын
Very artistically shot. Beautiful, atmospheric music and a black and white image full of nostalgia... Not to mention what they are doing! The board is wonderful. I love surfing and sliding on the asphalt waves of the city...

Blue Note is the most renowned Jazz label ever. Thrasher and Blue Note makes an incredibly fluid vibe for this one. Great combo! You could put Slayer to this and it would work well. But classic Jazz just brings the chill; sometimes we all need the chill!

Amazing ! Jazz has been my favorite genre for the last 6+ years since I found out about WBGO… I remember not too long after, I saw a Butter Goods t-shirt at the skate shop with a jazz inspired graphic on it and Butter has been my favorite brand ever since. Absolutely loved this 🙌🏻🎶💯

This was dope, it’s like you guys saw my algorithm and made a video tailored to my top interests; jazz and street skating. People have mentioned the 90’s Stereo vibes but also felt like it was influenced by the Real Non-Fiction video, especially the SF footage with the Wayne Shorter cut. Loved this video!!!

What about the scene from that movie about those NY degenerates when they are watching a video talking about "The Gonz" - jazz for his part nailing the kinked hand rail, laying on his board like it was his bed cruising through NY traffic...The Gonz!! For the record one of the degenerates rest in peace Harold Hunter came to Memphis back in '05 and we ran into him he was so cool we showed him Beale Street gave them a big bag of skunk oh he loved us as we loved him we almost were able to take him to a real dirty south shake junt but some of the others New York members didn't want him leaving with a bunch of strangers from Memphis I will say that was one of the best nights in my life old dirty Harold super cool
