I was lucky enough to meet Pedro at Tompkins one day a couple years back. I was trying to land my first ever boardslide on a curb; he cheered me on the whole time and when I finally got it he came up and gave me a hug.

I haven't felt this way about a part since Milton's DEMOLICION, which I thought was the gnarliest skate part of all time. Now there are officially TWO gnarliest skate parts of all time in my book. And this coming from someone who has been following skating since 1998! Of all of the tricks I've ever seen, switch bombing the Nuge hill would be the LAST one I would ever want to try. SOTY with no second thought.
