Sport mode is equivalent to the drift mode in the focus in terms of the power split. Track mode gives it 50/50 front and rear don't know what it does with traction control but for awd having the extra power to the front will help if that lap was having understeer

Hi Marty i have pumped a fair few mods into my GR but i would say the best and actual real world improvements have been 1.Goodridge Braided Brake Lines 2.Whiteline Anti Lift Kit and their Torque control arm bushing as the stock GR one splits very easily 3.Good intake kit removing the stock box , Actual real-world performance and a lot of waste gate noise. Also if you want to turn off the fake engine noise Toyota can do it and they can also unlock the secret window program which puts both windows down remotely while holding the unlock on the fob. Hope you enjoy your new GR! Need any more info you can find GR forums at GR ZOO and GR Yaris UK , plenty of posts there with lots of archived info and generally helpful and friendly people around. P.S Shoutout to Golebys Parts , have purchased a few things off them and the boys there do the right thing by their customers.

ohhh a GR Four, those are some meaty cars. if i remember right they are a 3 cylinder producing over 250hp stock. very quick cars and a hell of a lot of fun to drive. they were great when they came in to the toyota factory i worked at.

Shame you guys don't get the circuit pack over there with the front and rear LSD's and uprated suspension. Quick tip, to turn the TC completely OFF, press and hold the TC button until the "expert" in the dash comes on, keep it held until the "expert" goes off but the 3 lights in the rev counter are still lit. 😉

Yoo sport/track mode only change the 4-wheel drive modes and NOT the traction control! Also try to get the Limited Slip Diffs for the 4-wheel drive. Would be interesting content if you show if its possible at all.

I just dont know what you could really upgrade. what's exactly missing? i suspect he'll drive it stock for a while and when he makes any decisions, they'll be half as invasive as he would have planned before he became more familiar with the car.

stock suspension is a bit unbalanced under undulating surfaces at speed and get's a big pogoy - there is space for improvement - also most benefit from an alignment.

Well to fix the car's problems you'd have to get really invasive. Lowering the seats, which put you as high as on a tractor, requires cutting the seat supports and welding in new ones, but then the massive infotainment screen hinders your view. Making this chubby supermini lighter will also prove a challenge because the interior already weighs very little.
