Hi, Mine is a self oiler, it has an oil reservoir under the machine. I found a copy of the manual online for you to look at www.manua.ls/pfaff/563/manual

Is this similar to a pfaff 463?
@DianeSladowski4 ай бұрын
@@caligrindin9492 I am not completely sure. I assume another industrial Pfaff would also thread left to right. The threading thru the disc should be similar. I haven't threaded one.

@@caligrindin9492 Quilt tops? I would use a 10, I almost always use ballpoints, but a sharp would work here. I do garment sewing primarily on mine, I use Gutermann topstitching thread mostly. It would not be appropriate for free motion quilting as the feed dogs do not drop. Sweaters are a little tricky on this machine. I would use my JUKI DLN-415 needle feed and an overlock if I were doing a lot of knits. These are affiliate links, if you decide to use- Thank you! What I mean by a needle feed: shrsl.com/4n96o An example of an industrial overlock: shrsl.com/4n96r I have industrial overlocks (sergers) and 2 of these: shrsl.com/4n96s Sorry it took so long to get back to you!

Is this a walking foot machine that will sew leather?

No walking foot. Not suitable for leatherwork.

Your hand gets in the way, I have to jump around in the video to get a clear look at the thread path. Maybe you could use something to point with, a pencil?
