Have to completely disagree with you on the soundtrack being lack luster, I feel Nakano did an excellent job with the composition and creating an excellent sense of mood with the tracks.

+NitroNecropolis after finishung up recording and looking for music for the video I did find a couple of tracks that did actually stand out,but still found that Nakano has done better work as well. It's decent, but not the best.

I was with you and then you lost me when you said the music wasn’t good, it’s literally iconic and legendary and the OST isn’t only nostalgic but has some really good songs. Through the Forest, Fancy Mell’s Theme & the Dew Prism Theme are phenomenal considering the technological limits of the PS1 at the time. Nakano was truly inspired and he went on to make more amazing music, this seemed like a good plateau era.

Beem a while since I did this and my opinion on the OST has changed overtime. I feel like some songs are definetly more iconic, but the ones tgat are good are really good, some are just annoying to listen to.

legendary??? I haven't played it yet but I'veb been transcribing video game piano music for decades and I've literally NEVER heard or read anyone even mentioning this game never mind commenting on the music. I'm sure it's fine but 'legendary' is the definition of hyperbole

Not sure if we'll ever see more of these old school RPGs get the saem treatment as, say Secret of Mana recently, but it would be nice to see.

I would agree about the soundtrack if you made an exception for Passing Through the Forest. That song (and the main theme) alone are pure beauty

totaly forgot this game haha i plyed this b4 but i didnt finish in my ps1 then when i got my psp i download this game but it freeze now 2018 ill try to play this in my emulator i hope this time i can finish this game and btw i was 11yrs old when i 1st played this b4 ps2 comes out in the market
