I’m a wool handler of 30 years in New Zealand! Nice wee set up keep pushing those fleeces through mate wool is COMING BACK! It’s one of the most sustainable fibres we have!! ❤😊

I am wondering if there’s a misspeak towards the end when talking about twist and plying. He says that the machine plys Z, but I see S ply in the yarn hanging there and in the subsequent cones and skeins. Given that standard Western yarn is S ply (with Z singles), I’d assume that’s correct, though other cultures would use Z ply (and S singles). Plus, Z is clockwise and S is anti.

Yes and no, off camera I posted out the S ply, but I think I cut that part out in trying to shorten the video, good eye, you must be a weaver

You got me-weaver, spinner, knitter, crocheter, tatter, and more. As a tablet weaver and crocheter, I can get extra interested in threads spun opposite of conventional for the effect on the finished project. @@TheDesertMonk

It can be found in many sizes just look up wool picker, or drum picker
