Thank you for letting us know about this awful scary thing to be aware of. I’m going to tell all the ladies in my life about this. Oh my God also the clothes you found it we’re freaking amazing I couldn’t even --gasping one after the other!!!!!!!!! I’m having the time of my life with thrifting Because it allows me to enjoy and play with all kinds of styles and silhouettes that I ordinarily wouldn’t go for since Im a reseller also part time And I really get to explore and enjoy while modeling the clothes and sometimes I’m so unexpectedly surprised at different aesthetics I never would’ve tried!!

Yes it's been going all over tick tock. A girl that was working late shift at a restaurant would drive home and her dad in the morning kept noticing a black zip tie on her passenger door handle of her car he kept cutting it off thinking nothing of it finally on the 3rd day he called up his friend who is in law enforcement and said cut it off right now they have been getting reports of kidnappings and sex trafficking and they're targeting young women by putting the zip tie on the car handles. It's scary

Epic finds Melissa! Glad you're ok and stayed safe... definitely good pointers to WAIT and photograph your hauls at home, and to spend less time being distracted in parking lots as well. An idea to consider is going thrifting with a friend or family member as an option. You can still split up for a bit while in the store if you wish. Personally, I almost always go with my best friend or my husband. It's a nice outing and time spent well spent together with either of them. In your videos, it's been fun seeing you team up with Sarah Dunk- which is fun for the viewers to see your interactions, but also for the safety of BOTH of you! Maybe even consider bringing various guests with you for the videos, even if it's only from time to time. A final thought, keep a small tool kit in your vehicle that includes a basic pair of wire cutters- once you've left the location, you can quickly and easily snip off anything that got wrapped on the handle. Heck, even keep a small set in your purse! Thanks for sharing, and let's all stay safe together!

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and at our Value Villages wex they give you a coupon for 20% off a total purchase of either $100 or $200! I can’t remember (🤦🏻‍♀️boomer🤦🏻‍♀️) but it adds up either way! I literally bring my donations when I go shopping there, drop those off immediately and use the coupon that day! This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and I love it! I’m sorry you had to were deal with some creeper and having your sense of safety taken from you! I bet if you explained what happened to one of the employees at checkout they would find one of the staff to walk you safely to your car. The times we’re living in unfortunately require a ton of forethought and then vigilance as we do things in public. Thank you for taking us thrifting! I look forward to the next shopping trip! I also heard from a police officer that if something is on your door handle to cut that shit off asap - it's a marker to let others know you're traveling alone. Make sure you're somewhere safe, then remove it
