I think you're forgetting Tumblr. That's what launched most of these kids. They weren't all hanging in Soho because it was fun. Soho was just retail stores and restaurants. Most kids from NY didn't hang there. Tumblr kids hung out there because pics with Soho in the background got shared the most on Black and Hypebeast Tumblr.

It's crazy how many kids were hanging down on lower broadway on Saturdays that are now poppin...Luka, Heron, Kerwin, Theopolius London, Kid Cudi, Vashti, ASAP Mob, Virgil (i'm missing mad people..I know). So many people were just hanging out on the street kicking it with each other all day taking pics and going store to store. Unbelievable to see those kids take over fashion.
