I can't remember having said that I was any better than him, I just said that he can only go fast and that he wasn't able to play a groove. He's been playing propably for 10 or even more years - which is why he's better than me ;-p

@GJanee by "proper groove" I mean grooving a long. The faster you get the easier it becomes to play a groove, because timing it right gets much more difficult (every drummer who's got a clue will agree on that) which is why cobus humiliates HIM. Watch people like Jojo Mayer watch?v=Gr8KYnEW-7Y, those people are real drummers. Don't get me wrong, I dig metal, not this band in particullar, but many others. Drummers like Portnoy are the only ones in our genre who can do both ways fast and groovy.
