Three 5 Minute Rope Braid Styles | Q's Hairdos

Three simple rope braid styles to use on those mornings you need to get out the door quickly. Each of these three styles takes about 5 minutes. The rope braid is a simple braid and I will link the tutorial for that below as well as the end of this tutorial.
Style #1: Begin with a center part, take the crown section, about two inches to the right. Take a half inch section and split in half. Take the right strand and cross over top of the left strand. Add a section of hair to the right strand and cross over the left. Add a section again to the right strand and cross to the left. Continue this pattern until the desired length is reached. Secure with an elastic. As an option. Rope braid the remaining ponytail by twisting to the left and crossing to the right. Then secure with an elastic. Repeat this process on the left. The only difference will be crossing the left strand over the right strand. Then continue by adding a section of hair to the left strand and crossing over the right.
Style #2: Begin with a deep left part. Take a small diagonal section and split in half. Cross the right strand over the left. Add a diagonal section to the right strand. Cross over the left. Add a section to the right strand and cross over the left. Continue until desired length. Secure with an elastic. Three strand braid the remaining ponytail and secure with an elastic.
Style #3: Begin with a deep left part. Take a section of hair from the part about two inches back from the hairline all the way to the ear. Move this hair out of the way while you secure the rest into a side ponytail. At this point I like to add water and spray gel if needed. I will link the one I use below. Secure the ponytail. At the part line, take an inch section and split in two. Cross the right over the left, then add a section to the right and cross to the left. Continue all the way to the ear. Once you can not add more hair, just twist both strands to the left and cross to the right until you reach the length of the ponytail. Secure to the ponytail.
