THREE ARRESTED FOR EXTORTING MONEY IN LEH

On 16/01/2022, a complaint was received by Police Post Housing Colony Leh from a person namely Padma Angchuk S/O Tsering Phunchok R/O Heniskot Kargil labour by profession to the effect that on 14th, Jan 2022, three unknown persons driving in a Santro Car abducted him and his friend from New Bus Stand Leh and took them to Skampari area and extorted an amount of Rs 16000/.
Rigzen Dorjay S/O Tsering Dorjay R/O Lingshed and his accomplice vis Manish KC S/O Lal Bahadur KC R/O Nepal and Jatin Sharma S/O Raghu Sharma R/O Jammu were arrested. In this instance a Case FIR No 03/2022 U/S 364A, 392,394, 506/IPC was registered.
