As much as we would like to play our game today, you have got to give credits to the opponent. United came and defended mid block really well in that first half. You could clearly see that Odegaard struggled, Saka had limited number of duels, Timber gave the ball away number of times, gotta admit they came prepared and stopped our attacking threat on that right hand side very well. They had most of the possesion, and were passive, steady, and calm at the back .. tactically - I believe they achieved what they came for and won in that first half. It was not until they conceded that first goal in the second half that forced them to move their defensive line a bit higher, which gave us spaces to run and through balls to play, but we couldn't finish off those chances. Open play-wise .. we struggled today and it was a very tactical game, but we were clinical and deadly in our set pieces today, that's what gave us the win, and that's what matter. Props to Jover, Arteta, and other staffs. COYG

People crying “set piece FC” are hilarious: a) Juninho scored free kicks consistently - are we calling him/the club Free Kick FC? b) Rory Delap created more goals from his long throw-ins than corners, are we also calling him/the club Throw-In FC? c) Utd won 1999 UCL with corners and set pieces, did we call them Set Piece Merchants? Oh, don’t talk about history? Fine. This season, Arsenal has 7 goals from set pieces while Utd has 5, only 2 goals less than Arsenal from set pieces, why not call yourselves set piece merchants too?
