Tello is worth the bang for the buck. Unlike Mint Mobile, you're not locked into a plan for a year (paying upfront). With Tello you can build up your data bucket on a higher plan then, once you have enough stored data (from monthly rollover) you can drop down to a lower plan, even as low as $9 per month. Simply put, don't pay for more data than you need.

You also don't have to pay for talktime you don't need - don't use more than 500, 300, or 100 minutes per month, or use data only? Don't pay for them!
