Everything looks so common. There isn't that touch of class and breeding that you see in the vintage photos of the young queen always with the Duke of Gloucester (King George vi's Aide-de-camp) at her side at the races. Everyone here looks so common.

The commentator is dreadful. Too serious and intense. Let's get to the fashion earlier.

I love watching the processions and have watched them every day! But this announcer's voice is APPALLING! He's obviously got something in his mouth besides his tongue & teeth!! Flopping one's tongue around in one's mouth, or having just "A bite of a Biscuit", while announcing Her Majesty & others at Royal Ascot, simply is NOT Done! All week long we've had to hear these announcers trying to "Report" on who's in the carriages, while having all kinds of other voices & China dishes clanging in the back ground! Does someone not exist who knows how to cup their hand around a mic in such a way so as to block out those kinds of noises, & keep one's mouth clear of a "Rogue Tongue" or chewing while talking?? When we're watching from around the World, we'd like "Quality Reporting" on our Video Feeds, please!
