I've lost count of the number of covers of "Ordinary World" there are out there (it almost seems a requirement). But from the moment I heard that voice, I was all in. I'd lost track of Rachel Cohen (loved The Reasoning) but she has a distinctive voice and delivery that I can listen to for hours on end. An excellent cover of a song that's hard to improve on.

Thanks Claudio... I filmed the departure from Milano Rogoredo on a trip to Italy a few years back for the funeral of a friend and thought it would work well as part of the video for our version of 'Ordinary World'.

I really didn't like it. I love that song so much on a personal level and she doesn't capture it. It's a song about all sorts of things. Simon le Bon wrote it about the death of a friend. I think it's about addiction and recovery. It needs to be sung by someone who understands it. Someone who has lost something. She sounds like she's lost her glasses. It wasn't awful. It was meh. Meh is worse than awful.

I tend to agree. It lacks the despair and sadness that was emoted in the original. This version just seems like a "well, we liked the song, let's cover it!" type of feel. Needed more emotional investment than was given.
