Before my mother took her life, a few years back, we used to dance around the kitchen. I was only a young kid at the time and didn’t remember the names of her songs. I’m so happy that I’ve found Three Days Grace again. I can’t listen to any of their music without tearing up. The memories are too overwhelming :/ I also found some other bands she used to listen to, like evanescence and disturbed :(

This song means a lot to me, my mom struggled with drug addiction all throughout my childhood, I was never in her care due to that reason, I was raised by my grandmother but she'd visit when she could, she really loved me and was never under the influence of anything around me, It always hurt to see her leave because I never knew when I'd see her again, but she loved to show me songs she'd found on KZbin and this was the first ever song I can remember her showing me, It's what started my love for metal music and dark themes in media, without her I might be a whole different person today, she's been clean since I was 12 or so and she finally settled down and got married in 2021, I cried that day and I can't thank her enough I'm so incredibly proud of her I love her with every fiber of my being and thanks so much to Three Days Grace for kick starting who I am now.
