its not that Matt inst a good singer, it's just the fake "rasp" he uses to try and sound like Adam, I think Matt is an impressive singer and all, with his fry screams (I think), and his clean singing, but when ever he is singing songs that aren't acoustic like this, he's got this fake rasp and it just sounds bad most of the time.

I don’t think it’s fair to compare Matt to Adam. They’re different singers so of course the songs are going to sound different. Matt also had huge shoes to fill when he came into this. It doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a great singer.
