I think older TDG with Adam is more deeper and depressing but like you said, the one with Matt is heavier and still good. It' s always difficult to find a new singer when they had their own typical style and really aren't to replace. It reminds me a bit of suicide silence. Mitch had his own style and with their new singer it changed. Of course he can't sound like Mitch but he's still good. And everyone's hating on him. I understand that we often prefer the old ones over the new but most people forget to just be thankful that they're still trying to make new music and move on. I like Three Days Grace. Old and new :)

I feel the same way. I'll listen to TDG with Matt or Adam, and I even like Adam's new band Saint Asonia. Do I miss when Adam was TDG's frontman? Of course I do. Do I wish he hadn't left? Yes, most definitely. Things are what they are, though, and as long as all parties involved are happy and making good music, that's all that really matters to me in the end.

There's a few vids I think on TDG's actual KZbin channel where Matt sings some of the old songs, and I went and saw them with Matt before covid kicked off and he is a HELL of a frontman. The dudes energy, his vibe, his voice are all amazing. I was impressed with him all the way through and I think Matt is a badass. I have loved TDG since the start and I think with Matt they obviously sound different (vocally) but still a hell of a band kicking out some really good music.

I've known this band since 2018 mb, and firstly didn't even know, that before Matt there was Adam. And after hearing Adam's song, i realized that I like them both, they are definitely not the same, but what's common is that their voices are so unique and that's why I am not disappointed, that Adam left. And besides, he is now in Saint Asonia, so we have 2 amazing bands, I think it's awesome. Also, спасибо за внезапный русский)

Best Rock Band ever. I got a life start now tattoo on my back and one x on my neck. I love transit of Venus album it great 👍 I know people didn't like that album. I enjoy this band a lot!! Been listening since they came out! Loved Adam as a front man. Matt is great too. Definitely found his grove with the band! Back in 2006 They actually played a free show on base in Sasebo Japan!! It was amazing and just a blast. After the show I asked if they wanted to drink and see the night life. I got drunk with Adam!!! Pretty awesome..

It pisses me off when people act like Adam was the band. Like yeah I love the guy and he has such an amazing voice but there’s 3 other members that made up Three Days Grace before Adam left. Matt is filling in admirably. Neil, Brad, and Barry are all great musicians in their own right. In fact I think they’re all very underrated especially Neil. People need to realize that bands are more than just the vocalist.

its hard to watch this band do what they do, I get it bands evolve. But, I fell in love with one x and fell in love with adam, barry, neil, and brad. One - X and hell even though I didn't like it as much when Life Starts Now came out. Those are 2 albums I know every riff, lyric, key change ect, and I wish I could learn them all over again. Then I found Spiritbox 2 years ago and the addiction began anew.

I love Adam's voice. Matt is a great singer too. This is my favorite song by him just cause of the roughness in his voice. The first album with Matt I haven't heard but the second album Outsider has good songs but still nothing like this song. Matt's voice doesn't or at least before didn't have that roughness in it. Unless I have totally missed or forgotten an earlier song 😂❤️

I actually prefer matt and I've been following the band since their first album. Matt has a really good live stage presence that adam just didnt. Adam was great in studio but always found their live performances lacking with him on lead sing. Over all the band never really lost their main style just ajusted to the new singers strangths. Just my opinion of course so some may not agree. actually got in to it with a fellow fan at a bus stop hating on the new singer, he changed quick when i played i live performance for him on my phone. Matts voice has a brilliant range.

Alex please listen to Staret's "Icarus"! In my opinion it's the best song of the album! Edit: After listening to the album a little more, im gonna switch my opinion of best song to "Devolution." I love the atmosphere of Icarus, but Devolution is a better song imo. Harsher, more fun, and varried.

The thing that sticks out in my mind about this song isn't so much with the whole news cycle, but a more pervasive illness in our society. Everyone's so alienated from each other and from themselves, it's not so much a society as it is a bunch of robots in a cage with each other, all for none and none for all as the song says. So, adding this to the list "songs that unintentionally rehashed Marx's theory of alienation in capitalism." You'd be surprised how long that list gets.

Their first Album with Matt was just ok. Now over the last album, Outsider, Matt has certainly found his groove. With my experience it kind of seems that when a band gets a new front person it kind of takes them a little bit to find their groove

Matt is steadily getting better since joining. This and Into The Abyss being by far my two favorite songs with Matt also lyrics are back to being TDG for sure (they were still very bad with outsider). I wanna see Matt scream a bit in a song or two (theres a little hint in this song it's very short but I heard a little growl in the guitar breakdown) as the ending in into the abyss was such a pleasant surprise.

I saw 3DG live before I Hate Everything About You (their first big song) came out then a few times after they had "made" it. They had an awesome stage presence live with Adam fronting the band. I haven't seen them live with Matt, but I have enjoyed the studio stuff with him. Both front men are good, it's just your personal preference. My preference is Adam because I can relate to so much of his lyrics because I know the addiction thing personally.
