Love you a lot Layefa.. when you talked about having a personal encounter with God, although I got what you were trying to say but The encounter helps us “through it” not that you cannot be depressed.. it will help you through the depression. I’m such a fan of you so I’m not trying to be rude but please let us not be dismissive about mental health and depression please.. you have a big platform so let’s be careful what is put out there.. lots of Christians dismiss depression and say “it’s cos you don’t know God personally” , “you don’t have a personal encounter with God”.. it doesn’t do any good for the person who is going through it and I’m talking from experience here.. the statement rubbed me off really wrong and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks of it this way. Hi hun, thanks for your comment. That’s what I meant, I’ll be the last person to dismiss mental health when I’ve had my share of it. I said before when I experience it I forget all the word I’ve heard but having an encounter with God you’re certain that God’s got you through whatever it is you’re going through and that assurance makes a little easier, before it was difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel but now there’s a confidence I have in God and that’s because of personal encounters not my pastor said but me experiencing God firsthand. Thank you hun, I actually thought it’s majority of people that felt my videos are too lengthy lol
