Ikr. I really agree with you. Yes, I'm well aware it's a premium-quality preloved dress. But hearing the blond shopkeeper says, "I've put that gown on, like 16 times", really turns me off. Eww. Why would she say that in front of her customer? Let alone, a customer in need for a dress for a very special day. :( I mean, you don't say something like that to a customer who's on the look for a special wedding dress. Who would want a wedding dress that has been worn by its shopkeeper for multiple times. BIG no, no! :((

I ordered my dress as a bridesmaids dress with extra length in ivory. I’m short so the added length was like 2 feet over. Hemmed from front to sides. I now had a wedding dress with a two foot train and lace for $80. No one knew the difference. My veil was a catherdral for $30 from a thrift store. We repurposed the trim with lace. Way under budget and beautiful.

OK these ladies who own this boutique are miracle workers. I've watched Say Yes to the Dress in all its many forms....they say it takes 8 months to a year to do a wedding dress right. Sometimes they can sell them a sample dress in a pinch. I have NEVER seen someone walk in 3 days before their wedding and find a gorgeous gown that fits her PERFECTLY within 5 minutes. That's insane. lol

It's Alexander McQueen plus vintage.... Kleinfeld has nice dresses however when you wear an Alexander Mcqueen name to your wedding plus it being vintage meaning the real McQueen design it trust me your wedding dress is one of a kind. So, 3500 is quite cheap

True. I dropped a lot of money on a custom dress for my wedding, telling myself "someday, my daughter will wear it". Hey, my older sister's dress was worn by her daughter AND my youngest sister as well, right? Unfortunately, neither of my kids is built anything like me, nor are they size 4s, as I was all those years ago. I wish I'd spent the money more wisely, even if I HAVE been married for over 30 years. (At least the pictures are beautiful. The designer had me wear it in a number of her fashion shows.)

I thought it looked the the slips I use to wear under my dress's LOL However, I will admit I know nothing about fashion. I just buy clothes because I like them with no fashion statement/ designer in mind. I have never dressed to impress."

She has a lovely lithe figure and the dress mostly fit her, but did nothing for her bust line...nothing at all,. I hope she was able to get a good seamstress to deal with that.

ebonywahine some people love a flat chest. I think she looks elegant without a super defined chest.

She doesn't have to have a defined chest, but the dress was too big for her in the bust area. You can see how the wrinkles are forming around the seams.
