Hello Chad , just wanted to say I love the way you do the work to your projects use what you got and get it done . I hope you don't take this the wrong way my friend but I don't think I would want to be anywhere near you in an electrical storm because if anyone was going to get struck by lightning it would be you , I've never seen anyone with so much bad luck in getting the wrong parts 😂😂

Not bad for a first run and the exhaust sounds good. Absolutely impressed with your making your own fuel tank. I hope you can get it mounted where you're happy w/it. Can you put the filler neck higher, the heck with the original hole? Can almost taste the first drive!

I found a new favorite channel. As I watch, I always try to think ahead, and go into the how would I do it. As you were building the gas tank I expected you to weld the bottom and sides from the inside. I pictured it being easier to weld a fillet, than an outside corner.

It's nice to see you get those things done this week. It seems like the little stuff towards the end of the build, just getting her running right sometimes feels like it's way more hassle than building out the car itself. I think they say the last 10% of the project is 90% of the work. Maybe that's not exactly right but with little nick knack nonsense odds and ends like what you had to deal with on that intake manifold, those kinds of things are what drive me to quit wrenching sometimes. But you made it and it sure does sound pretty darn good right now. Thanks Chad for keeping putting in the hours for us!!

Harbor Freight has the whisper quiet compressors, small one is only $159, bigger one is about $239 or so last time I checked. I have had the smaller one for about 7 or 8 years now, I use it for interior and exterior finish work. I beat the tar out of it all the time, it's so quiet and durable, not the regular Hobo Freight ones only the quiet series, don't know who makes them, but they are better made than most, and 30-80% quieter than any other compressors, great for something that has to run inside a house for your heater. Worth every penny, I abuse my tools badly, and it takes a beating. Also good to see your ads coming back!!

I love it and it sounds great on video, that float is sticking in the center carb, that's why gas is coming up from the vent and you have to seal the threads on those intake bolts for the ones that go into the water jackets but that all minor things, love that car and love what you've done with it I'm sure it's gonna be a blast to drive, seemingly in the near future with the progress you've made, sweet job on the gas tank too but you were so close to bending it with it clamped down on the table, a light score like with the grinder and you can push it down over the edge of the table while the angle iron holds it in place, just for future reference 😊😊
