Three Engines and a Baby

I wasn't sure if I'd do a Christmas one this year. I did practically everything last year. So I had a think, and reached the conclusion that nobody had done the Nativity.
So why don't I have a go?
I talked it over with Jake - because Jake seems to be the sounding board for my more stupid ideas - and we worked out a plot. And then we worked out a plot again. And again, until we ended up with this story. More stealing the occasional element than an outright adaptation, which is almost certainly more appropriate for Thomas.
It's not the most action-packed story, but I hope that by using my usual tactic of cramming in a few different elements that you don't notice.
