Thank you Brethren for your thoughts on the Judgment Process. I still believe that the Sanctuary motif is the best way to teach this particular lesson and in fact all of our distinctive teachings. Using that template makes sense of those things which can be so confusing otherwise and on which so many varied opinions can be formed. However, the lesson as presented in the Bible Study Guide covered fairly accurately the essence of what the Bible teaches. So many of our people are ignorant of this subject since the Sanctuary Message has been taught less and less after Desmond Ford's new theology became popular. We need to get back to our original teachings on the judgment. The Bible has not changed, and the Pen of Inspiration was given to last until the end. God's entrance requirement for Heaven still REMAINS: JUSTIFICATION by faith in Jesus Christ. SANCTIFICATION by faith through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit ensures GLORIFICATION, entrance into HEAVEN. This means that all who will enter Heaven will have experienced sins confessed and forgiven at all time, must FORSAKE their sins and must have all sins BLOTTED OUT of the Lamb's Book of Life. If this is not done then one's name will be blotted out of the Book and they will be lost. Jesus will not cover sins that have not been confessed, forsaken and blotted out as this will not vindicate His character or His contentions with the Evil One. Help us Heavenly Father,

Not an SDA nor do I follow the lesson studies. Nevertheless, I think what will happen with the records of the wicked after the millennium is not "investigative" but "confirmatory". Surely there must be an investigation of all humanity's records beforehand that determines who will be translated or rise in either the first or second resurrections.

I believe EW was inspired, but I don't believe everything she ever wrote or said was inspired. In as much as she was human, she had personal convictions. Sometimes we take her personal views and try to turn them into doctrines and this has caused many problems in our church. If we all agree that Christmas is a pagan custom, why is there even a discussion about the tree?? We cannot pick and choose which pagan customs the church must embrace. Sadly, our church has embraced Christmas and we are using EW to justify it.
