my all time favorite board game. This game is a GEM amongst any co-op games there are. The theme is so spot on and the challenge levels is just perfect and you can always tweak it so easily to your liking in many different ways The art combined with the wording and it's style are so flawless, it's really a beautiful game to look at all the cards and reading what everything does is such a simple joy! And the way they have connected THEME with MECHANICS in this game is the best I have ever seen!

No. Challenge is NOT perfect. Can’t stand this game. The first mission in Wasted Wilds is overly difficult. Why did they start the game like that? So insane. A major turn off

@@realdealastrology9 Sorry to break it to you but it could be that you are just bad. I don't feel what you mean, at all. besides, if you are not competent enough to lower or raise the difficulty in a manner where it match your groups skill level, you are the problem

Have recently got Wasted Wilds and also the Legendary box. I have to say I absolutely love this game! The map tiles and monsters are fun (especially handling your relationships with the tribes!) but it really shines for me with the character card decks and how they play. The characters are just so different (I love the zoo keeper inparticular), this is such an under-rated game! P.s. I am a miniature gamer but I love playing with the standees for this! I will get around to painting and playing with the miniatures but am in no rush as the standees give a more thematic feel!

@@realdealastrology9 to be fair I have now sold it on! It all got pretty “samey” very quickly and I found set up quite irritating considering how long the game actually is!

Wasted Wilds was the first edition of this game series I got and I agree with you it is criminally underrated. However, there were 2 deterrents I'd like to get your thoughts on. 1) The wording of several scenarios is ambiguous and imprecise leading to guessing an "unpolished" feeling 2) Now that the scavenge decks are always fixed, we find them to get repetitive. My understanding was in the previous versions the scavenge decks were tailored to the scenario which made setup a pain, but IMO adds flavor.

I agree with what you are saying about the scavenge decks. However… I tried playing a game from the original and it was an absolute pain setting up those decks! 😂 I think it probably depends on how long a play session you have time for? For me this fits a whole similar to marvel united, a game I can get to the table quickly and play quickly if I have limited time (I.E. week night). My collection seems to be getting more and more of these ‘week night’ games due to the reality of how busy life is.

@alessandroloru7786 Yep! It's one of my favorite games, I still play it all the time. All the expansions are great, but you can get a lot of mileage out of the any of the core boxes first to see how you like it.
