3 classic pubs plus the Salisbury( ex wilsons house). which I frequented when I was 16 at Manc Poly. The back room in the BP we used to meet in the 80's when our printing union was on strike for 8 weeks. Great pub. Saw the well on DM vid, love the pissstone history 😂..loved that vid Steve, cheers pal...sluuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrppp 🍺👍😊

All 3 great historical pubs of the world’s greatest city, been in all 3 many times, also shame you didn’t go in the Salisbury. My favourite pub in Manchester. On many Saturdays I’ll get off the train at Oxford Road, walking down the steps into the Salisbury for a few great pints of excellent ale, before going on to watch the worlds greatest football team. MCFC Champions. Good vid mate.

Used to take the train at Oxford Rd to get home after getting off the bus.... Those steps, you really needed a pint before navigating them.... Needless to say quite a few times I ended up getting the last train.....

@@davefb your right about the steps, have to navigate them very carefully these days depending on the consumption of alcohol and the fact I’m nearly 60, they get harder each time, although the great beer in the Salisbury make it worth while.

Really enjoyed it. Next time in Manchester I'll try to get to them. One pub I do know and use is the marble arch on Rochdale road. Lovely tiles etc. Anyway thanks again.

Great vlog really enjoyed it . Have frequented all those pubs including the Salisbury. If you enjoy traditional Lancashire pubs , can I recommend you vist the White Lion in Westhoughton. A very old holts pub which is a listed building. With the original tiled bar and fire places . It is in the top 100 places to visit according to Historic England. Ta for doing these vlogs ,really enjoy them.

@@theparadoxclub1326 we popped in the other week on a saturday, right in the middle of the day and there was only a couple of folk in there. straight up to the terrace although the skyscraper next door has ruined it a bit. No guinness though, you have to get the house stout
