You delivered the gospel message to us and for that I'll always appreciate it. My brother's son...my nephew heard your message and has since passed on from covid even though he was only 34. Bob Anderson, who was a great impressionist, did great impressions singing like all of these guys and many more, and he brought them back to life for a moment. Dean Martin’s son didn’t just “die in a plane crash”. Dean Martin Jr. gave his life for his country. He was a fighter pilot in the California Air National Guard, and died when his F-4 Phantom crashed in the San Bernardino mountains during a training mission in a snowstorm. His weapon systems officer, Ramon Ortiz, also perished. His son’s death affected Dean Martin profoundly - he was a virtual recluse afterward, rarely seen in public until his death on Christmas Day 1995.

I used to be a minister of music at an Assembly of God church about 25 years ago, before I started playing engagements and clubs. I love the segments on the entertainment industry and the mob! Recently saw a show on Dean Martin. Frank, Sammy was doing a reunion of the Ratpack tour. Only after a couple Dean just walked off stage in the middle 0f the set. He didn't return.
