I think one of the "odd" details in Three Hopes is that since the prologue events happen so quickly we basically send barely trained students to handle coups, revolts, and invasions. They only participate in 1 mission from the Officer's Academy compared to Three Houses where we spend a full school year before war breaks out. It must be like the Fire Emblem equivalent to taking the Midterm exam and not even understanding the first question on the test.

It is borderline ridiculous but it's also funny to expect that these novice students would be sent on full missions so early in the main game, too. The first few chapters are important missions but the church trusts Byleth (new teacher) and a bunch of teenagers. I guess we can suspend our disbelief xD

I think most students have combat experience even without the officer’s academy given various supports. It’s sadly not unrealistic that a bunch of 17 year olds are sent into battle in a medieval setting.

@@lametrain9667 Most students could have some experience, but that also varies by house and age. Spoilers below: Edelgard only takes Hubert, Dorothea, Petra, Monica and Jeritza into Enbarr. Monica probably hasn't even had much time since she was rescued: she's probably not even physically fit yet xD as for the Blue Lions, everyone but Annette goes to Fhirdiad, and we know that Dimitri, Dedue and Felix helped suppressed the western rebellion years ago. So there's still some experience but not all around. As for the Golden Deer, I'd highly doubt that Marianne, Lysithea, Ignatz have any combat experience at that point, barely 2 months into the academy. But it's a game, so it's not meant to be completely realistic anyway.

@@l.n.3372 monica probably has the most experience put of all of them since she has been at the academy for a year longer than anyone else

@@starlyte1320 True, she WAS about to graduate before being kidnapped. But still, she JUST got released from being held hostage for months. She probably wouldn't even be physically prepared to fight for many more weeks. But this is a game, so realistic was never the point haha

I do believe the three paths will converge because there is an achievment for collecting all 16 heroes relics. I counted in 3Houses: 23 crests - crests of Earnest, Noa, and Tometheos (Crests bore by Anna, Constsance, and Hapi respectively which have niether a relic nor a sacred item) - 5 saints (who only have sacred weapons) =16 relics, meaning all relics in 3Houses, including Sword of the Creator, will be available to obtain. 3Hopes directly talks about crests and compatability so the relics should come with their crests' bearer. Based on this, not only will the paths converge, but Byleth will be playable.

I think the relics will probably gather through ng+ plus, as all other achievements. That doesn't rule out that all the characters will join together, but it makes it less possible. Byleth is playable, why wouldn't they be... But they have a new sword, with a crest of seiros on it (not a heroes relic). I wonder what it is... Also, I counted again, and the checked the wiki. Excluding Aymr, there are 14 relics + 1 from Aymr which probably doesn't even exist. So where do the other 2 come from? Maybe Aymr does exist? That wouldn't account for the last relic, which I guess might be Ernest's relic since there aren't any other I can think of.

Amyr, Fetters of Dromi, and the Vahjra Mushti are not true heroes relics, according to the actual 3H game. Amyr probably won't even be in 3 Hopes since it was created by the Agarthans and Edelgard doesn't work with them anymore. These are the only heroes relics: Sword of the creator, Blutgang, Thunder brand, Aredbhar, Luin, Lance of Ruin, Freikugel, Crusher, Failnaught, Aegis shield, Rafail Gem, Thyrsus. That's 12 relics (used by Nemesis and the 10 elites + Maurice). All 12 of these were already available in the base game in Azure Moon, BTW. So it's not too hard to imagine that they could be available in Azure Gleam now as well. What matters is Failnaught, since Claude gave this to Dimitri in AM.

@@thoet7270 we dont yet know if ng+ is a thing in this game. It probably will be, but its not confirmed. Given that Amyr will still be a sword and Edelgard is still using an axe, with a preference in axe weilding classes, its presence is the only wrinkle in my theory. The only other known character with the crest of serios is Rhea, and while she does have profictiancy in swords she wont go anywhere near Amyr if her personality from 3Houses is the same. That doesnt rule out another character with the crest from existing though. Unless IntSys is hiding it like they did with Edelgard, Shez does not have a crest, though being the "partner in destiny" with Arvel, they would be in a position to posess one. This is especially true if the Agarthans are connected to Shez like i theorize they are. If so, they may have relics of their own to make up for the missing ones For the record, i was wrong in my count. 12 Heroes relics. While Amyr is not considered a heroes relic, i remember seeing it in the final battle in VW, as a sword. That makes 13 (including Sword of the Creator), still less that 16, so what other relics are there? We know that Yuri and Balthus are in 3Hopes, whats to say that they wont have their relics? That would make 15, still less than 16. They last one could be for Shez, since there is a second duel-weilding class, so we know Shez will go through and enhancment, probably like Byleth's. If Arvel is a divinity like i suspect, she may pass on a crest in that event. Yes, of course this could be all NG+ territory. But if its not, than its highly likely that the three paths will converge, but probably differently depending on what path Shez is on.

@@Nizube64 in the final battle in VW, i remember one of the enemy soldiers has a sword Amyr. But i may be remembering it wrong. It being a sword would make sense though given serios's sword proficiantcy.

@@15Linkmaster Tbh I don't necessarily buy this explanation. Mainly because Jeritza isn't always the professor of the Black Eagles in 3 Hopes, yet Edelgard is still able to enact her new plan to save Monica and oust Arundel. Jeritza could be the professor for the Blue Lions or Golden Deer, and the same stuff still happens in Enbarr anyway. So what was to stop Edelgard from doing the same even if Byleth was professor instead?

@@l.n.3372 Because she doesn't trust Byleth like she does Jeritza that early into Three Houses, assuming she even lands Byleth as her teacher since she only has a 1/3 chance of that happening, while Jeritza is already her underling so no matter what house Jeritza leads she can manipulate them into saving Monica. Basically Byleth is a huge gamble, while Jeritza is a guarantee.

We all know that Claude isn’t from fodland That’s he’s from outside that country three hopes the Almyrans invade the person that invades Looks just like claude I think that could be his brother and there’s more to that story he was trying to be killed and was brought to his mother side the Reagan house to become the leader of the alliance Claudes story is going to get crazy in three houses we never found out where he’s from or who was trying to kill him this is going to get crazy

In an interview, it is stated that Claude is just a moniker for his real name: Khalid. Also said Almyran Prince says that Claude reminds him of his brother Khalid in every way. It's basically directly stated that they are siblings.

They all know that he’s chasing mercenary but they don’t know who but when he’s having his chat with Leoni he mentioned the name Geraldt But I don’t think she notices it’s the same person that she was raised by and then we see a scene in the trailer where pilot has the green here at selfish so it’s clear they are going to fight in the true farms with the kingdom taking in Brea this whole store are you going to get crazy because at the end of the day when Sarah’s gift by left her power we all know Rea it’s gonna back him or her

I’m still wondering how progress will work between routes. Will we have to do new game plus for each route or will it be like other warriors games

@@GodSlayer330 yeah. In most warriors games with multiple storylines you can choose any of them any time you wanted instead of beating one before moving to the next.

Since this may be spoilers, I'll leave it hidden for those who want to avoid them: In Black Eagles chapter 4, their base is already in Leicester territory because count Gloucester gave Edelgard that land to use. But this makes no sense, because why doesn't Claude just call him out for being a traitor, in the Golden Deer path? Unless the Empire has a separate base in a different location depending on route? This would imply subtle differences between routes even in a shared timeline.

I believe the territory is from Acheron and Count Gloucester is North of that. There is a knight in the base camp (in Scarlet Blaze) that mentions Gloucester is obedient to the Empire at the moment, but that could also be what the argument Claude and the Count were having in Golden Wildfire was about. Something doesn't add up though since in GW their first mission is to get to the Bridge of Myrddin, but in SB the Empire is already past the bridge so they can assault Garreg Mach. Acheron could betray either side, but it seems like a big plot hole for Edelgard to have just marched right across the bridge without Claude at least trying to step in during Scarlet Blaze.

@@TheSacredSpear I agree. It feels almost like Black Eagles are meant to be a future possibility, what will happen if Claude doesn't push her back as soon as possible. Because it's currently impossible for her base camp to be in the Alliance without Claude knowing. Perhaps this means that there's 2 timelines? One where Edelgard is already in the Alliance territory, and one where she hasn't yet broken into the Alliance? Blue Lions might be simultaneously with the Golden Deer timeline in that case.

I think it’s like how the Empire coup, Kingdom Revolt, and Almyran Invasion all happened at different times. So Golden Wildfire has the earliest start in the war because nothing notable happened yet, then comes Scarlet Blaze where the Great Bridge of Myrdiin has already been captured, and finally Azure Gleam where I think Garreg Mach has already been taken and you’re going to the Valley of Death to rendezvous with Rhea after they lost at Garreg Mach
