The Genzler Kinetix 800 is by far the best hybrid bass amp I've ever played, and I've played them all, but it really is something you have to plug and play in person to experience that true dynamically and expressive musically tubbiness warmth of natural compression and harmonics that you feel all inside your chest, that I've only ever really been able to get from all tube bass amps, until this little BEAST of an amp with its delicious tone capabilities.

have you ever compare Kinetix with MarkBass LM Vintage? I had old GB streamliner and both MB vintage a vintage D2.. and i choose D2 as my main amp but i also like stremliner ... so im realy currious about kinetix, but threre is place to test it in prague... :/

What kind'a comparison is This??? You don't have the frequencies dialed in similarly to each other..?

Seems like you missed the first 20 seconds of the video where I clarified I’m not comparing them 🤯

The Digbeth is all solid-state. It is erroneously marketed as a hybrid. There is no glass tube anywhere in the circuitry of the amp. I have owned it and looked it up. One Talkbass user emailed Laney about it and they confirmed it. I asked around about suing them for false advertising but would be told it wasn’t worth it. Oh well.
