Three Imaginary Boys - The Cure - Cover Guitar bass

Here is a cover of The cure: Three Imaginary Boys. I use my Jazzmaster with a microphone of Top20 like Robert Smith, for the fan side ;-). It is plugged into my Twin Reverb, which is taken with a speaker simulator plugged into my sound card. The bass is connected directly to my speaker simulator pedal with the emulated amp.

Voici une reprise de The cure : Three Imaginary Boys. J'utilise ma Jazzmaster avec un micro de Top20 comme Robert Smith, pour le côté fan ;-). Elle est branchée sur mon Twin Reverb, qui est repris avec un simulateur de Haut Parleur branché sur ma carte son. La basse attaque directement ma pédale de simulateur de haut parleur avec l'ampli émulé.

@@philakwor je viens juste de voir que tu parles super bien le French. 🤣. On fait un cover de ce titre avec les potos du groupe dans lequel je chante. On la joue un peu plus vite. Super bon travail en tout cas. Ça m'aura beaucoup aidé pour répéter. On reprend également M et 10:15.

Thx, ! hello, i have not tab, you can decrease the speed of the youtube video (0,75 or 0,5) and watch the fingers and the neck, it's easy ;-). I used the octaves (two fingers for the same note), but that's not what the cures do on the original

Felipe Acurio Robert Smith originally played a woolworths top20 guitar but when they went to record the first album they said it was shite and he couldn’t use it and needed something better so he went out and liked the look of the JM. He got the pickup from his old guitar wired up and played the first album completely on that pickup (apparently)

@@felipeacurio7855 the middle pickup is a Teisco. It comes from a top20 guitar, aka Robert's first guitar. BTW the pickups on a JazzMaster aren't P90, but single coils designed specifically for this guitar.
