This is one of the best threeJS tutorials ive seen for beginners. When I gave it a shot, it only shows one component of the object and not all of the components. What is a good way to display all of the components of an object at the same time?

Thank you @Beh3D I'll bet you obj file has more than one geometry. So this line: *obj.children[0].geometry* only grabs the 1st one. If you drop your obj into threejs.org/editor/ you can see if this is the case. If it is, you can simply add the whole thing. threejs.org/manual/#en/load-obj

@@robotbobby9 Thanks for your response. When I try the scene.add(obj), nothing appears- any tips on how to add the whole obj?

Help! I think on github there's onlz the code for creating the nice background but not for the loader itself. And I also was not capable of giving the program the right "directions" on wehre it can find the obj modell and the code.

Near the bottom of this code (5th line from the bottom) is the line that loads the model github.com/bobbyroe/loading-a-model/blob/main/index.js

you can set the alpha (opacity) of the material applied to your loaded obj model. `const material = new THREE.MeshMatcapMaterial({ matcap, transparent: true, opacity: 0.5 //
