THREE KILN OPENINGS in one video!

Firing my kilns back to back resulted in a three kiln opening video. As soon as one shut off, I fired up the next one so that I could get all the Christmas orders done before surgery on the 15th. Phew! I can't believe I actually got it done.
Lots of Clayscapes, Spectrum, Mayco, and Amaco glazes combos.

I started watching this video out in CA and thought your were about to go in for surgery. Then I heard you say it was 8 am so I prayed that it had gone well and you were already on the road to recovery. I love watching yr videos from the waikato in New Zealand.. you are inspirational..love it..I also know what you are going through as I broke my hip from a horse riding accident..three times I've had to have it redone..a lot of courage needed to return for the third time for sure..but you need to do it as you don't want to be like this any longer..there is better times around the corner for you...best of luck ..just love your videos..❤

Best of luck with your surgery. Great Kiln openings, all three of them. That firing schedule is called the Camille Hoffman slow cool firing schedule and I find that it works great with Groggier clay. I don't get as much bloating and pin holing. I am finding that I like the cone 6 with a 6 to 10 minute hold with BMX type clay because there's much less pin holing. Of course, it's generally a crapshoot anyway. Take care!❤

Not sure why you are having surgery, but I had shoulder surgery in April 2023 and honestly it was rough the first 3-4 months but it gets better slowly, I am just now getting back to my full arm use though
