@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
Ya, we just hook on the inside of the rub rail, and avoid that outside at all costs. Drive safe.

Like to know size & lenght of you tarps? ( lumber & steal tarps ) Thanks Kevin
@lunasphinx9 жыл бұрын
Respect.....Good training vid. You should do one @ reg speed for maverick, see if Curt will up-load on system for newbies. Demo's are ok & you get a lot of that in barn. Do they even have a real time in the field securement demo up-load.

+will i am There are a couple of thise comming up this week. they are loaded and ready to go when the date hits.
@EezeeListen8 жыл бұрын
Hi Dale - Only if you have time, can you briefly explain how the heck you would tarp that load? I can understand the "ease" of tarping down materials that are only a few feet high, but I cannot fathom out how you would get tarps on top of that high load, and if you did, how you would get on top to unroll and spread - surely the height of that load makes it too dangerous to attempt to climb up - or do you have to carry ladders? To me, this job is only for those who really want to do some extremely physical and probably dangerous/risky work. All credit to you. Cheers, Mike
@DaleLClay8 жыл бұрын
Fork lifts put the tarps on top of the load, then the tiny drivers climb up there and roll them out. Lots of fun when its is foul weather. Or Dark outside.
@jefferyhubbard35329 жыл бұрын
we're you in Columbia Tn. last week when you picked up the load for Indiana?
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
I might have been. It gets all blended together in my brain after a week of driving. Sorry.

Working on it, many places don't allow filming, but when I can I will try and show the up close and personal side of securing a coil

I'm thinking about going to Maverick soon and I was wondering. Do they let you take your truck home and does that apply to all the divisions trucks?
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
If there is not a Maverick yard near your home the you bring it home (if it fits) or to a place near your home. Remember my name as a referral if you do go with Maverick.

"before arriving all doors must be locked windows must be closed and fridge unit turned off. turns out the week before a guy with a machete was running lose around the streets and another guy was taking pot shots with an air gun at a driver who left his fridge unit running.I see the winter foliage is coming on nicely
