oh, was there a full hug in a deleted scene? That sucks that it was cut then. I always wanted more focus on their relationship. I felt like even though Elijah wasn't technically the oldest son, but since Finn kind of rejected that role, he took over as the oldest sibling. when freya showed back up in their lives I think it was a relief to Elijah to finally have an older sibling that he could like confide in and share the load. But I agree with you, the Mikalesons are one of my favorite fictional families period.

i don’ t know but there is something about the way elijah and rebekah hug each other; sometimes it feels like niklaus is more an obsession than a brother for elijah that’ s why we always see him sticking around with his brother but when it comes to rebekah we can see them having their own space, time together and alone, living different lives in different cities but always remain in touch with each other and whenever they hug, the show how much they love, care and missed each other + rebekah clearly feels safe in his arms.

I got all teary eyed watching all the hugs. I love how much they all love each other despite all of the not so great history that they have with each other. It just shows that no matter what they’ll always be there for each other. I’m getting emotional again. Such a good video. I loved every second. 😊🥹
