Three MPs further remanded over diverted cooperatives’ money

The Anti-Corruption Court has further remanded the three incarcerated Members of Parliament who are facing charges of diverting public funds released for the compensation of cooperative unions in war claims. The trio, along with two others, will return to court on Thursday next week for the determination of their bail application. An agreement was reached in court on the request of the prosecution team for adequate time to verify the details and particulars of the sureties presented in support of their bail application.
