Hope powers act different. She has Power Mimicry and Control. Rachel is the one that is more like Jean. Madelyn on the other hand is a less powerful telepath but she studied the Dark Magic so she is more magic based character.

Well, the amount of people in the summers family who are now in the game has just massively increased. Now we have jean, cyclops, rachel, hope, havok and goblin queen. Even the fantastic four doesn't have that many family members in the game yet Edit: I forgot Cable and Stryfe (cable is cyclops son and stryfe is cables clone). So that makes 8 summers family members Also someone speculated that goblin queen will get the t4, since there are 20 letters in the last piece of text, the 20th alphabet letter is T and there are 4 lines of text. God knows how far of a reach that is though lol

Lets not forget about the upcoming X-Men 97 series, meaning many of the lead characters could their classic look uniforms in the next few months. Marvel Legends also posted the pictures of Goblin Queen figure, so she could get a uniform as well.

Hope Summers was the first mutant born after Wanda removed the powers of all mutants on the planet, save 197 of them. Hope was taken to the future and raised by Cable as the hope of mutantkind. She's not actually related to Jean or Cyclops at all.

I think Exodus will be the Sentry, the character you unlock and rank up by doing the missions. Then maybe Hope is the deluxe pack character and Madelyne the final one you get by ranking up all the others

@Cynicalex, 7:42 Madelyn is the T in the sky and she's facing off against 4 mutants. My money is on her being the new Jean Grey, the epic quest pack reward, and the next T4 hero. Exodus was the first hero teased, so I wonder if he's the other hero tied to the epic quest pack. Netmarble knows we want Havok, so I'm expecting him to be an X-gene sub and I wouldn't be surprised if Hope Summers is one too =/ I can't believe that we'd only get one new uniform, that would be a first, IIRC--I'm not counting Captain Marvel from way back when. Bishop, Warpath, Mystique, Fantomex, Jubilee, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and X-23 all need updated uniforms. We probably shouldn't forget that Emma Frost was teased in the results the devs showed just a day ago, so is it possible that she's part of this update too in some fashion? 8:47 So you don't think that Madelyne would be our first Native T4? If you want to kick 2024 off with a bang, that's how you would do it. 11:28 she could be a new WBL character and that's how we unlock her bios too? The teaser before this was of Xavier's mansion which made many of us think WBL, but I really hope it isn't that tired old stage. I would much rather have island we're seeing in this teaser! I guess we'll find out during the livestream.

From a powerset standpoint, Hope Summers is closer to Synch and Rogue than Jean Grey. She can pretty much duplicate the powers of mutants in her vicinity, so she could duplicate Jean's powers if she was near her.

Yeah, Rogue absorbs others powers and skills, she is literally a vampire. Hope mimics and copy powers of people around her.

Hope was not really a Summer... She was saved by Cable and technically adopt her hence the Summers last name, her power-set was that she can use the ability of any mutants near her without harming them.. More of like a tone done version of current Rogue in the comics or Sync

Ya’ll don’t know who Hope Summers is? Dude, she is the Mutant Messiah and Omega-Level Power Manipulator and Mimic (yes, also with a connection to the Phoenix). Think of her as a mix of Cable’s soldier training, Rogue’s power stealing, Phoenix, and basically any debuff you wish. That is what Hope could be.

We are getting Hope finally, i hope they improve and reintroduce danger room, a kraoka dispatch is an amazing idea, at least doubleing the mutant material cap, and so many Phoenix force characters they might give an team up collection. I sort of agree because the Mutants are soooo rich with interesting characters with cool unique powers and character designs. In particular I wish we got Blink, Armor, Dani Moonstar/Mirage, M/PENNANCE (SUCH A DOPE CHARACTER!), Rasputin (basically a combo of Colossus and Magik she’s so cool), Sage, NORTHSTAR, SUNSPOT, Husk, Elixir, Forge, etc.

i actually think this could be a 2 part epic quest right now we only have the 1 eq character to build (assuming havok) 1 deluxe charuacter maybe 1 free to farm and the 1 get from finishing eq don't know where rachel ties into this but usually epic quests have at least 5 characters because of the 5 mission stages 2 for getting free bios for some xmen 2 for the limited hero farming and 1 for the deluxe, mission unless make a couple of characters free to farm (bishop, rachel kid omega.) .either way I am glad we getting epic quest its long overdue!

Madelyn Prior's story is super tragic and makes me hate Cyclops even more than I already did. Also, she's Cable's mom and she and Havok were in love after Scott ditched her and Cable like the deadbeat dad he is. Magik also gave her rule over limbo, and she has demon powers - so she's not only a Jean power set clone. Hope has some powers that Jean doesn't have too, like power manipulation or something

Goblin queen will be native T4 that you build in the quest. They'll introduce a new SoF tier material fusion, like CCf for sentry. Deluxe pack will be Havok T3, Rachel will be a shifter so people buy her from the store instead and transcended, Hope will be X Gene Sub Transcended and Exodus final native T2 collection piece. Probably locked at T2 like Gladiator. There will be some F2P characters missions in there but not any of these. If I'm right, do I get a crystal coupon?

First because I have to announce this. I opened the CTP chest today and? RAGE! Oh yeah. I'm into X-Men. So yes. I don't need to say much more. I literally just recently said the character I wanted to see in game was Exodus so I like this. I like all these characters. They got my interest. Oh edit, this is smart. Franchise character driven game, popular characters that have a fan following (and a lack of a current X-Men game, there is a huge market not being exploited here), the favorite characters are accessible to new or returning players. Now they just have to promote the crap out of it and they should pull in some numbers here. And these are characters Marvel is planning on spotlighting this year, Pryor included. That's why the clone is important. She's now basically the Queen of Limbo, summons demon armies, so on. That's the deal. And her uni will probably end up being her Goblin Queen costume as a guess. Side note, I made a 3d model of that broach. Selene also wears it, that's supposed to be a Black Queen of the the Hellfire Club thing. I'm a little miffed yet impressed they did a better job than I did. I cheesed out and used an alpha channel for the petals. "It says Beware The Goblin Queen." Remember to drink your Ovaltine.

As soon as I seen the Exodus sneak peek I instantly bought Tony Stark stash. Hope Summers was the first mutant born after M Day and is considered a Messiah. I had to Google her Mother who is not a Summer and her Dad is unknown. Long story short she was basically adopted by Cable hence why she is a Summers. When she was born it was like a beacon, where Cable believe she is too save the Mutants and Humans alike. However, Bishop believed she was the destruction of Mutants, those who were left after M-Day, and humans alike. Her powers are many, she can control, amplify, and mimic other mutants powers. Who knows what else Marvel has added but all you go to do is Google her. Myself, I collected every X-Men and or mutant related comic since the 80's and still have to Google characters to know there true power because Marvel has gotten redonkulous.

I knew Rachel was going to be involved in some way as soon as i saw it was going to be a mutant epic quest and saw Exodus. I am two bios short from unlocking her. Never was able to finish getting those bios from the DR before they got rid of DR. I will not pay the ridiculous amount of crystals either they usually want. Im hoping theres some way of farming or getting her bios through the epic quest. Probably wont be, but that would for sure hinder me from completing it. Exodus is the most powerful base level character here. Madelyne isn’t on Jeans level. Once Madelyne was resurrected i think back in 2012, she was far less powerful than she initially was and even then she was not even close to top tier before she died. Hope is insanely strong. She not only mimics other mutants powers, but she mimics them at the peak of what they can do whether the host could or not. Be interesting to see how they portray her powers. Messiah War and Messiah Complex are still my favorite X Men stories to date, which were Hopes introduction. Madelyne is strong, but she has not demonstrated being on Exodus’s level and surely isn’t on Hope’s level. I say that assuming Madelyne will be the final unlock-able character. Its fine. Whatever. Should be fun. I cant wait to build Bennet(Exodus). This is going to be expensive folks. Especially for those of us who don’t have Rachel unlocked.

A Native awakening And MAYBE Exodus' purple flame could be a hint that he might be a native awakening characters for whom we need awakening crystals for mastery and mandalay gems for rank up(or maybe the opposite but that would be less likely)
