As always love the colors. Never seen small eared sheep, although I’ve seen goats breeds with small or no ears. The fact grandma is so nice to them is really cool

The colors are my favorite part. In fact, I sold nearly all my white sheep because it wasn't as easy to tell them apart. Several of our blackbelly sheep have small ears, and a few have had no external ear structures. There is a study about sheep ear length I found interesting (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/age.13387#:~:text=Ear%20length%20in%20sheep%20(Ovis,from%20China%2C%20Jordan%20and%20Italy.). That ewe has earned the title "big mama" in our flock for her skill at mothering, and that she twins almost twice a year.

@@blackbellybrews2566same! These uniform, solid white sheep flocks look so bland to me. I like color and flashy color if I can find it. Love the badger/black belly color and spotted, but my favorite is the dark red and white. I’ve seen very few in person!
