In fact most of his offence is hurling himself 100MPH at his opponents, it’s interesting and creates great opportunities for the heel to catch his light weight and ‘punish’ his attempt. Guevara and JB suck balls, though.

This is sad for Jungle Boy. You can see Rush is trying to motivate JB because he knows no matter how hard JB hits him, he is not going to do anything but at least he can fire him up. But it looks like JB was trying to but he is just too small and weak and not motivated at all. You can see JB's facial expressions, the dude just didn't want to be there. There was a clear lack of motivation so why would Rush sell for someone like that? Especially when this guy is the one who has a main event title shot coming up? Putting aside Rush's selling, I just think he was trying to motivate the kid and tell him to actually put some effort into his attacks if Rush is going to do the job for him. It wouldn't make sense for Rush to dominate JB all match and then JB just gets a random roll up win at the end. How does that elevate JB for his title match? I think Rush was trying to get more out of JB, especially after that attitude issue and what JB said during that convention.

The match isn't buried. Darby and Sammy are both entertaining and high tier, and MJF is one of the best in the business right now. It just shows some wrestlers like JB are undeserving of their pushes, and have a lot of work still to do. Of the "pillars", he is certainly the one that hasn't lived up to his expectations. Their are better talents more deserving of being a "pillar" than JB.

Unprofessional though he was, there's a part of me that agrees. At times it seemed like he was trying to evoke some fire out of Jungle Boy; 'Hit me like you mean it, kid!' was the impression I got. But he still beat the absolute dog shit out of him the entire time and sold almost nothing. It's a weird situation, both because Jungle Boy doesn't belong at the top of the card in any capacity, and Rush seems to know this and took it up on himself to beat some respect into him. I think Rush has potential but if they're not going to give him a serious program, just cut him loose. He definitely seems to have an ego about him, and he also came off very stiff and reckless in this match. This match was baddd! I fastforwarded thru it live cuz I hate that Jungleboy,. Only after listening to Jim Cornette did I watch this match Horrendous. Everything everyone has said here is true. Tony Khan needs to tell Rush what to do, not have Rush go into business for himself on national TV right before Jungleboy goes to the MAIN EVENT for the CHAMPIONSHIP! He totally got his ass handed to him and Jack cheats to win? Nice booking Tony Khan, you clown. Go ahead, delete this comment. Who were the producers in this match? Where's Dean Malenko? Jerry Lynn? Billy Gunn? Who set up the details of this match? Also make Jack workout with Billy Gunn for 2 months so this guy can get some size. He looks like everyone's lil brother. It's not believable that he would beat this beast Rush. Sawft-ass chops. Jungleboy should not be doing chops either. Have Jungleboy beat some mid-card guy concisely, not get his ass handed to him and no-sold by Rush. By showing this match, you should have had Rush take Jungleboy's spot in the payperview. Also way to take off Ten's mask. Now he's just a jacked parking attendant that can't wrestle. Look at him take that double-dropkick bump. Christ. I watch videos like this from AEW and suddenly remember why I don't like watching wrestling anymore. If the likes of Stone Cold, Rock, Undertaker, Michaels and such like are the wrestling equivalent of Pacino, DeNiro or Arnie and Sly in their heydays.
