Three reasons why I’ll be planning in Passport size Travelers Notebook in 2025

I am a seamstress and LOVE my passport size TN. I haven't been using it as a wallet, but want to try for 2025. I have been thinking that I might try to create a wallet insert, myself. It would be fun to be able to choose my fabric and maybe change it with the seasons. Thank you for sharing. This video has helped build my confidence about doing this.

I so love when your videos pop up and I miss you when you’re gone. What a gorgeous portrait of your son! I’m switching to my passport for this year, too. I don’t use a wallet, though - too many inserts.🤣 I have health problems, too, and purchased a wonderful crossbody bag a couple of years ago that has it all built in. Such a lovely notebook and video! I used passport TN as my planner for 2024 and I found myself needing more space. So in 2025 I am moving into my regular. The beauty of TN is to be able to keep changing and adapting to what we need in each moment!🥰🥰🥰

Yay another video! I use one of my TN passports as a wallet and have a monthly insert in it for appointments and notes when I’m out and about. I have a dreadful memory so don’t remember anything if I don’t write it down!!!

Yours have aged beautifully like mine. Love seeing worn TNs. Using the weekly in my regular again this year. My brown Midories (regular and passport) are so old, the have the Midori stamp on the back. They never fail me! But I also favor my camel regular and passport. A perfect set of four. Diehard fan over here! 🙂

Oooh.mine are old but not that old. They have the newer Travelers Notebook stamp. I love the camel too but I used my passport as a wallet and its patina has become soooo dark. I love the lighter colour so I’m more gentle with my regular size camel. Have you not tried the olive? They call it olive but really it’s a beautifully cool toned brown…not as warm as the brown TN. Having said that…my brown has been my edc for years so is clearly my favourite 🤣🤣 thank you for taking the trouble to comment, my very best wishes to you, Ali xx

We speak the same language Ali!! I made a few purchases from Miso Paper and All things analogue after watching your earlier videos. I'm terrible because I see something and feel I have to have it 😆 I have decided to put myself on a no spend next year except for refills. We will see how that goes. I hope Theo is doing ok and that his health is improving. My hands and legs shake terribly when I am feeling anxious so you are not alone. I think it can also be a side effect to some medications, if they don't get us one way, they will get us another. That pouch is beautiful, Superior Labor are such high quality. I may have bought a SL bag but I am waiting until the new year to use it. Do you ever do that? That's something else I am promising myself in 2025, to use my supplies and not just look at them. I better stop waffling and go and make a nice cup of coffee. Sending hugs your way. xx

I have tried to do no spends so many times but I always fail. When I was young I was really hard up for money and I still journaled. Really all we need is a notebook. Now, after many years of hard work I’m able to treat myself. But I try not to go too crazy lol. I just saw the gorgeous Tokyo edition TN on Louise’s video @CoffeeTeaPaper and was straight online to look for it. But I managed to restrain myself, yay, as I really do not need it! Good luck with your no spend, but don’t feel bad if you succumb to temptation once in a while. We all need to treat ourselves if we can, sending hugs, Ali xxx

Hi Ali. I’m going passport too, having ordered a Common Planner compact from Sterling Ink and I’ve treated myself to a new TN cover in blue. That’s going to be my EDC plus wallet. Then I have a Hobo Weeks which I’m experimenting this month using as a memory keeper, a couple of lines each day and the opposite page for photos and more in depth. Everyday ephemera will go in the monthly section, and more in depth days/holidays in the back. I’m never sure what to use my standard TN for, journaling prompts maybe? I love my Misopaper/TSL pouch, so pleased you got one, I think it’ll be really useful. PS the coffee PET paper is precut, no need to cut out which I think is fantastic! Kathryn x

Hi Kathryn, I totally didn’t notice that the Pet tape was precut so thank you for that! I’ve bought a hobonichi weeks too and I’ll be sharing that today. I totally wish I’d bought two of the TSL/Misopaper pouches as would have made a great giveaway being a limited item! I wonder if they will restock? I use tarot for my journaling prompts…but you can find lots of journaling prompts online if you are not into tarot. I also like using. Regular TN for gratitude journaling. Lovely video - enjoyed with a green tea (proper posh one) plus mince pies and cream. So funny you popped the weeks in right at the end - I'm using a weeks for the third year running but have just decided to pair it with a passport TN (obviously not at all influenced by your good self ;-). Last year I realised (finally) that i wasn't using my A5 journal and standard TN because they were intimidating to me, in fact the weeks has been the only one I've consistently used all year. On reflection I realised it was because the other's were too big.

I’m going to try and use the passport for my on the go carry instead of the hobonichi weeks. I have been indecisive about it and this video has helped me process the pros. I’m in the habit of purchasing the monthly and weekly inserts each year and don’t unwrap them. But this year’s theme is my favorite so far. I placed an order at Miso Paper and seeing that the regular Traveler’s Notebook fits the pouch, i will have to try and get if they restock.

I loved using my passport as a planner/wallet this year ❤ As you mentioned, so portable and easy to fit into bags! Next year I'm gonna try the regular size as my wallet b/c I want to have a sketchbook and my cafe journal with me to go (also b/c I bought the Blackwing collab TN that I couldn't think of a use for 😅). I also realized I do a lot of planning on my phone. My little passports will be used for tarot journaling 😊

I love all the colours! Maybe think about asking for something you can’t purchase in your country, I think that’s what I would do! Maybe have a search for videos made by people who have visited the Travelers Factory and see what catches your eye? Whatever you choose I hope you love it, Ali xxx
