It is important to have back protection in your backpack since objects like multitool, shock pump in your bag can hurt you in event of crash. No bladder will not save you. My friend blown one easily. I hacked my endura backpack by fitting Ergon back protector for back packs (you can purchase it for around 30€), it was perfect fit. It gives me more security.

For sure! I broke my back due to a CO2 flopping around in my hip pack. It was between my spine and a lot when I wiped.

Hello! I am looking for a backpack that protects my back, and I like the ones from Evoc, but I don't know which model is better for me. My options are: Trail Pro, FR Enduro, and Neo. I have seen that you have tested 2 of them, which one would be your recommendation? I plan to use it for all kinds of routes, short and long, for Trail and AllMountain with my Ebike. Thanks a lot!

We've reviewed the Trail Pro: singletrackworld.com/2021/06/evoc-trail-pro-16-review-a-light-weight-backpack-with-protection/ and the Neo: singletrackworld.com/2019/04/review-evoc-neo-protector-16l-backpack/ plus a bunch more here: singletrackworld.com/category/review/backpacks/ I like the internal layout of the Neo, and how it fits, but it is quite heavy. Despite the weight, I prefer it to the Trail Pro. My most used one is the Camelbak Chase Protector Vest, but it doesn't have enough space for big days out. - Hannah
